Treasury

The Treasury is a critical component of Vendetta Markets, responsible for the management of funds within the platform. It ensures that all financial transactions, including the collection of market profits and fees, as well as the handling of emergency situations, are conducted transparently and efficiently.

Treasury Functions

The Treasury holds and manages funds, specifically in USD Coin (USDC), for the following purposes:​

  1. Revenue Fund:

    • Purpose: Accumulates all market profits and fees generated from platform activities.​
    • Usage: Funds may be allocated for platform development, marketing initiatives, community incentives, and other strategic endeavors aimed at enhancing the Vendetta Markets ecosystem.​

  2. Emergency Fund:

    • Purpose: Serves as a financial safeguard to address situations where a market is settled with an incorrect result or other unforeseen discrepancies occur.​
    • Usage: Provides the necessary funds to rectify errors, compensate affected users, and maintain trust and integrity within the platform.

Current Management Structure

At present, the Treasury is managed by the Vendetta Markets development team through a multisig wallet.

This interim management structure is in place until the establishment of a DAO and the issuance of Vendetta Market native governance token. Once the DAO is operational, control of the Treasury will transition to the community, aligning with Vendetta Markets’ commitment to decentralized governance.
