Points

The points system in Vendetta Markets rewards users based on the performance of their bets. It works as follows:

  • Bet Impact: Points are calculated based on the bet amount and the odds at the time of the bet. Larger bets at more favorable odds yield more points.

  • Outcome Influence: Winning bets earn a higher score, while losing bets still receive a smaller portion as consolation. This ensures that even unsuccessful bets contribute to a user’s overall points.

Mathematical Formula

For a bet with amount A and odds O, the potential points P are calculated as:

  P = A × O − (A / 2)

Then, based on the outcome:

  • If the bet wins, the final points are: Final Points = 10 × P

  • If the bet loses, the final points are: Final Points = P

The formula balances risk and reward, ensuring that successful bets are significantly rewarded while still providing a minor return on unsuccessful bets.

This approach encourages smart betting by rewarding both the size of the bet and the risk involved, while maintaining a fair and transparent system for ranking users.
